The problem
Capable people don't stall for lack of ambition.
You already know what you should be doing. You've known for months. You're not lazy and you're not short on willpower, you're just tired, and you've been carrying it alone. Here's what actually goes wrong, and what Momentum does about each one.
You changed twelve things on Monday.
Every habit costs attention, and attention is a fixed budget. Twelve habits means twelve part-time commitments, all of them failing quietly. Your coach cuts you back to the three that actually compound, and holds the rest for later.
An app can't be disappointed in you.
Streaks in an app break with no consequence, because nothing on the other side notices. A person does. Your coach reads your week, replies every week, and changes the plan the moment it stops working.
One missed day and you quit the whole thing.
Perfectionism is the real habit killer. Momentum is built so an honest miss costs you a streak but never your progress, because the thing we're actually building is the daily act of turning up to the truth.
How it works
Four steps. Then you just show up.
Tell us where you're stuck
A proper intake, not a signup form. Your goals, the season you're in, what you've already tried and why it didn't hold, when your day has room in it, and what you'd want said about you in a year. About ten minutes, and it's the part that makes the plan yours.
Your coach designs your habits
Within 48 hours a coach reads everything and writes your starting habits: three to five, each with a specific cue, a target, and a reason it earns its place. Built from your goals, not a template. Co-designed with you, but written by them.
You log every day, honestly
Open your private dashboard, mark each habit done or missed, add a line if you want to, and seal the day. Thirty seconds. Your streaks build, your line climbs, and your coach sees it the moment you save.
Weekly check-in, then the plan moves
Four questions on your dashboard and a short message on WhatsApp: how the week actually felt, what got in the way, what you want to change. Your coach replies, then adjusts your habits for the week ahead. The plan is meant to move.
The rules that make it work
Built so the honest answer is always the easy one.
Most trackers reward a clean-looking grid, so people tidy the grid. Momentum rewards the truth instead. Four rules do all the work.
Seal the day
Ticking boxes doesn't count until you seal the day, which is you saying: this is a true record. Only sealed days build a streak. It takes one tap, and it turns logging from data entry into something you actually mean.
The repair rule
You carry two streaks. Your habit streak counts consecutive days done, and yes, a miss resets it. Your integrity streak counts consecutive days sealed, whatever the result. Own a bad day and one number resets while the other keeps climbing. Hide a bad day and you lose both.
Yesterday closes
You can fill in today and yesterday. Anything older is locked, and only your coach can reopen it. History stays real, so the line on your dashboard is worth looking at.
Your coach holds the pen
Only your coach adds, edits or removes a habit in your tracker. You can ask for a change any time and often should. What you can't do is quietly delete the hard one at eleven at night, which is exactly when you'd want to. That one rule is why this holds when apps don't.
No fake urgency, no invented numbers.
No countdown timers, no confetti for a habit you didn't do, no leaderboard against strangers. Your dashboard shows what actually happened, including the weeks it went badly. That's the only version that's any use to you, and it's the version we'll always build.
Where Momentum sits
Between a £5 app and a £200 coach, there was nothing. Now there's this.
A habit app is cheap and completely automated. A personal coach is a person, but often £150 to £400 a month. Momentum puts a real human on your habits for about the price of one coaching hour.
| A habit app | A private 1:1 coach | Momentum | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical price | £0–5/mo | £150–400/mo | £59/mo founding |
| A real human on your case | No, an algorithm | Yes | Yes, a dedicated coach |
| Designs your actual habits | You do, alone | Yes | Yes, and holds the pen |
| Notices when you go quiet | No | Sometimes | Same-day, on the third miss |
| Protects you from quitting | Delete the habit, no one knows | Depends | You can't edit it away |
| Rewards honesty, not a clean grid | No | Rarely | The integrity streak |
| Effort to keep up | Low, and easy to abandon | Sessions to schedule | 30 seconds a day |
Your dashboard
One page. Yours. The thing you'll actually look forward to.
A private link, no password to forget, no app to download. It works on the phone in your hand at 6am, and it's built to make the honest thirty seconds feel good.
- Today's habits, in the order your coach set, with the cue that makes each one happen.
- A momentum line and a coil that literally grows with your streak, drawn from your real sealed days.
- Milestones you earn, never invent. Your first sealed week, your best-ever streak, thirty days in.
- An eight-week grid per habit, so you can see which one is quietly failing.
- Notes from your coach, and a message box to send one back.
Morning, Alex. Day 12, and the line's climbing.
Try it — this one's a demo
Your coach
A person, doing a small number of things properly.
Your coach isn't a therapist and won't pretend to be. They do three things, every week, for a small roster of people, which is exactly why the roster is small.
They design the plan
They read your intake properly and choose the few habits with the highest chance of holding, each with a cue tied to something already in your day.
They watch the week
They see your logs as they land. If a habit fails three days running, you hear from them on the third day, not at the end of the month.
They check in weekly
A short WhatsApp message and your four check-in questions. How did it actually feel, what got in the way, what needs to change.
A safe place to change
Be honest here. You're safe, and you're welcome.
The habits people most want to change are often the ones they've never said out loud. That only works if it's truly private and truly without judgement. So that's how we built it.
Completely confidential
What you share stays private between you and Momentum. It's never shared, never sold, and only ever seen by the people helping you. You can choose a woman or a man as your coach, whatever lets you be honest.
Never judged
Your coach is here to help, not to grade you. Whatever you're carrying, however far it's gone, they've almost certainly helped someone with it before. No lectures, no shame, no raised eyebrows.
All of you is welcome
Every age, every background, every faith or none, every starting point. Rebuilding after a hard season or just tired of not keeping your word to yourself. If you want to change, there's a place for you here.
Pricing
One plan, one price, cancel whenever.
Every Momentum coach holds only a handful of clients at a time, so the coaching stays genuinely personal however much we grow. The founding cohort is a small first group who lock this rate for life: join now and you keep £59 a month even after the standard price rises to £79.
That's roughly the price of a single coaching hour, for a whole month of someone watching, adjusting and holding you to it. No contract and no notice period. If you want to stop, you tell your coach and it stops at the end of the month.

A fitness coach with this model is £120–160/mo.
Price-locked for as long as you stay.

Why Momentum exists
Two people start with the same dream and the same twenty-four hours. Years later, one of them is living it and the other is still saying "next Monday." The difference is almost never talent, and it is almost never how much they wanted it. It is that one of them had someone on the other side, and the other tried to do it alone.
No one was ever meant to change by willpower in isolation. The people who genuinely turn their lives around are rarely the most gifted or the most disciplined. They are the ones who take a step small enough to actually take, and who have a real person who notices whether they took it. That kind of support has always existed. It was just locked away behind private coaches most people could never afford.
Momentum exists to hand that back to the people who quietly got written off. The capable and the tired. The ones who have started over more times than they would admit. A real coach, the few habits that truly matter, and someone genuinely paying attention. If that is you, this was built for you, and there is a real person on the other side of it, ready to help you prove what you have always been capable of.
Questions
Before you start
Isn't this just a habit app with extra steps?
The opposite. The app is the cheap, automated thing that ninety-six percent of people abandon within a month. Momentum is a person: a coach who designs your habits, reads your week, and changes the plan when it isn't working. The dashboard just keeps you and your coach in sync. You're paying for the human, not the software.
Why can't I add my own habits?
Because the habit you'd add at midnight is rarely the one that helps, and the habit you'd delete is almost always the one that works. Handing the pen to your coach removes the negotiation entirely, which is the point. Ask for a change any time and they'll usually say yes, but it goes through them.
Can I have more than five habits?
Start with three to five. More than that at once and none of them stick, which is the mistake almost everyone makes. But Momentum isn't a hard cap on ambition: once your foundation is genuinely holding, advanced clients can build up to ten habits, added one at a time and always designed and approved by your coach. The limit is there to protect your momentum, not to hold you back.
What happens if I miss a day?
You mark it missed and seal the day like normal. Your habit streak resets and your integrity streak carries on, because you told the truth. Your coach sees it. If it becomes a pattern they'll change the habit, since a habit you keep missing is usually badly designed rather than evidence about you.
What if I forget to log for a few days?
You can fill in today and yesterday. Older days lock so your history stays honest. Message your coach and they can reopen a specific day if there's a real reason, like you were in hospital or off-grid.
What if my coach isn't the right fit, and who checks the quality?
We do, personally. Separately from your coach, the Momentum team checks in with you on WhatsApp around your second week and then roughly monthly, to ask honestly whether it's working and how your coach is doing. If the fit isn't right, we'll move you to a different coach with no awkwardness and nothing lost. Getting the match right is our job, not yours.
Is this therapy or mental-health treatment?
No. Momentum is habit coaching. Your coach is trained to run the method, not to treat clinical conditions, and they will tell you plainly if something is outside what they can help with. If you're struggling with your mental health, please speak to your GP or a qualified professional. Coaching works best alongside that, never instead of it.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Your dashboard is a private web link. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app. Your check-ins come by WhatsApp, on the number you give us.
Is my data private, and is it mine?
Yes on both. Your habits and check-ins are stored securely and seen only by you and your coach. Your dashboard opens through a private link that's unique to you, so treat that link like a password. If you ever leave, just ask and we'll export everything for you to keep.
How quickly does anything change?
Honestly: the first two weeks usually feel unremarkable. That's normal and it's built into the method, which is why the coach and the check-in matter more at the start than the streak does. Most people can see a difference in the line somewhere around week four.
Can I pause?
Yes. Tell your coach, and we'll pause your billing and freeze your streaks so you come back to what you left rather than to a wall of missed days.
