These terms are the agreement between you and Momentum, a habit-coaching service operated by Calvin Kudzai in the United Kingdom. By joining Momentum, you’re agreeing to them. We’ve written them to be readable rather than intimidating, because a relationship built on honesty shouldn’t start with fine print you can’t parse.
What Momentum is
Momentum is habit coaching. A real human coach designs a small number of habits with you, holds you accountable, and adjusts the plan as you go. It is not therapy, medical care, or mental-health treatment, and it’s not a substitute for advice from a doctor or a qualified professional. If you’re dealing with something that needs that kind of help, please speak to someone qualified — and we’ll gladly encourage you to.
Who can join
You need to be 18 or over and able to enter a contract.
Payment, renewals and the founding rate
- Momentum is a subscription, billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. Prices are shown on the site before you pay.
- The founding rate, where offered, is locked for as long as you stay a continuous member. If you cancel and rejoin later, the current standard rate applies.
- Your subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and you can ask to pause rather than cancel if life gets in the way.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Our refund promise
Your first month is fully refundable if Momentum isn’t working for you — no forms, no penalty, just email us. After that, we don’t offer refunds for partial periods, but you can cancel any time to stop future billing.
How the coaching works
- Your coach designs and holds your habits — this "coach holds the pen" approach is deliberate, and it’s a core part of why the method works. You choose your goals; your coach designs the daily habits, with you.
- You agree to log honestly, including the days you miss. Momentum is built so an honest miss keeps your integrity streak — the honesty is the point.
- We’ll do our best to match you with a coach who fits, and to keep the quality high. If it’s not working, tell us.
Using Momentum fairly
Please use the service lawfully and don’t misuse it — no attempting to break, copy, or resell the platform, and no abusive behaviour toward your coach. We can suspend or end an account that does.
What belongs to whom
The Momentum brand, site, method and dashboard are ours. The data about your life — your habits, logs and notes — is yours, and you can export it if you leave.
No guaranteed outcomes
We’ll give you our honest best. But building habits depends on you turning up, so we can’t and don’t promise specific results. To the extent the law allows, Momentum is provided "as is", and our liability to you is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the previous three months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
Ending things
You can cancel any time. We can end an account for a serious breach of these terms, and we’ll tell you why. If we ever stop offering Momentum, we’ll give you fair notice and a chance to export your data.
Your data
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If we update them, we’ll post the new version here and, for anything significant, let you know. Questions? hello@mymomentum.coach.
